Established by the companies in its territory, the ESCI de l’Ain has assured, since its beginning, its specificity as a Dual Skills Higher Education School.

A pioneer in the area, the ESCI has for over more than 25 years developed a unique expertise by relying on two characteristic fundamentals:

  • Pedagogical programmes drawn up specifically for technical and scientific profiles so as to develop dual skills
  • Progressive professional integration through work based learning, of which everyone now recognises the benefits as much for the youngsters as companies.

 

History

  • 1981:  Birth of CEFORAL (Work based training centre) at the heart of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ain
  • 1989:  Approval of the Industrial Management Manager Diploma (Level II)
  • 1990: Constitution of the Groupe Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d’Industrie de l’Ain
  • 1992:  Approval of the Diploma of Agro-Food Industry Manager (Level II)Installation of the ESCI in its premises in rue Henri de Boissieu
  • 1993: Creation of a 1901 non profit organisation, the Groupe ESCI de l’Ain
  • 1996:  Approval of the Diplomas in Industrial Marketing and Sales and Real Estate management (Level II)
  • 2004: Expansion of the ESCI in a European network: ULIXES
  • 2005: Opening of professional bachelors and masters degrees in partnership with Université Lyon III
  • 2005:  Renewal of the diploma in Real Estate Management (Level II)
  • 2006:  Renewal of the Diploma Level 2 « Industrial Projects Manager – option Organisation of Industrial Performance, option Sales and Marketing in industry » - - 25th Anniversary of the ESCI de l’Ain
